Fulfillment Shift Coordinator - 2nd Shift at Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, Indiana

You will be responsible for overseeing the workflow, ensuring tasks are completed on time while optimizing productivity. As our Coordinator, you will:

• Help operations to maximize the production of quality products while minimizing costs.
• Ensure that all processes are being followed in the completion of work tasks.
• Provide instruction and guidance to employees, audit work processes, and products to confirm production specifications are met.
• Oversee operations, maintenance, as well as the purchase and stocking of supplies and raw materials.
• Maintain and update daily production records and produce reports as necessary.
• Ensure that safety procedures are followed by all employees

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety regulations, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems or logistics software is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs to 75lbs throughout shift
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
• Temperature fluctuations match outside environment (hot outside, hot inside - cold outside, cold inside)

Pay, Shift, & Location:

Pay: $20.00/hr, plus $2.50/hr shift differential for 2 nd shift

Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed
