Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Manufacturing Phone Support Specialist to provide first-line support to customers, vendors, and internal teams. This role involves answering inquiries related to product specifications, order status, production timelines, and troubleshooting manufacturing-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Respond to phone calls and emails from customers regarding order status, production timelines, and general inquiries. • Provide technical support related to manufacturing equipment, processes, and product specifications. • Assist in diagnosing and resolving product-related issues in collaboration with engineering and production teams. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM or ticketing systems. • Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics departments to provide accurate updates. • Escalate complex technical or production issues to appropriate departments. • Educate customers on product usage, maintenance, and safety protocols. • Support internal teams (sales, logistics, engineering) with customer-related information. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and suggesting solutions.
Qualifications: • Experience in manufacturing, customer service, or technical support. • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, or materials. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in using support software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
