Responsible for field operations including quality and production, safety, equipment management, maintenance and need allocation, and client interactions on a single or multiple projects.
Oversee project staff including Craft Superintendents, Foreman, Field Engineers, and other support staff.
Manage construction operations for Heavy Civil, Bridge, and Marine project operations including pile driving, concrete formwork, barge handling, and crane operations.
Establishes work schedules and ensures appropriate manpower is available for the project.
Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
Perform all other duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years' experience with marine, piling, or bridge, 10+ years of prior construction experience.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with all levels of the company.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, technical procedures and government regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
Availability and willingness to work weekends and night shifts per business needs.
Work Environment/ Physical Demands:
Capable of working outside or on the water in variable climates, traversing large active construction sites, and working around welding, cutting, grinding, marine vessels, heavy equipment, cranes, dirt, dust, noise, and vibrations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, arms, shoulders, legs, reach with hands and arms and verbally communicate clearly. The employee is sometimes required to climb or balance. Ability to lift and or carry 50 lbs.
